MEET SHADEE, OUR ‘BREAD WINNER’

Born and raised in Camden NJ, Shadee began cooking at a very early age alongside his mother. At the age of 13, he had the opportunity to intern at a local restaurant.  After 4 years of working and completing high school, he was awarded a scholarship to Johnson & Wales University, where he received degrees in both Culinary and Pastry Arts.  After graduating in 2006, he began working at some of Philadelphia’s fine dining restaurants. Through the next several years, he gained experience in both fine dining and private catering.  In 2014, he made the decision to focus on natural leavened bread, as it was an art form that intrigued him.  He gained most of experience at High Street on Market, Philly Bread, and Woodberry Kitchen. Now in 2018, he is looking forward to opening Charmed Kitchen.
